App for kids

Working on an i-phone app for kids. Can't say much more for now. Anyway, here's the evolution of one of the characters. We went from cartoon to paper cut-out style which will serve our purpose better. A completely new direction for me as I never really worked in that style before but I like the result.

This is the version we settled for...so far.

Another background.

Uncle Chuck's Viddy-O-Rama DVD sleeve

Here's a DVD sleeve I did for NY labels Killer Diller/Castile Records. I had a lot of fun for that project since I had to draw a number of friends in this illustration of the NY garage scene. Here's a full package for you! First sketch, inked drawing and the final piece.

Competitions (suite)

Two more entries. One for a music festival, the other for a children/youth book festival.

No theme here, so I just used rockers and a Solex. For those who aren't French, you might wonder what a Solex is. Well, it's a motorized (or is it a dynamo?)  bicycle that was very popular up to the '70s in France. Less stylish than a Vespa I have to say.
The theme of the festival this year is 'body'. There were many ways to go: Identity, genre, health, sexuality, growing up, movement. I chose to go with the perception you can have of your own body.
